Last night, HBO dropped the full trailer for Mike Judge's upcoming series Silicon Valley.

Thomas Middleditch (The Campaign) plays Richard, a software engineer who has developed a hotly sought after algorithm. Caught in the middle of a bidding war, he has to decide if he wants to sell-out or turn down the cash and start something himself with a team of misfit programmers, played by Zach Woods (The Office), Kumail Nanjiani (Portlandia) Martin Starr (Freaks and Geeks), T.J. Miller (She's Out of My League), and Josh Brener (The Internship).

While Silicon Valley themed reality shows haven't received much love – Bravo's Startups: Silicon Valley lasted a single season and Amazon's Betas failed to make much of a splash – it appears Judge's comedy series will be more successful at capturing the surreal quality of a place where millions are routinely thrown at untested dudes in hoodies like its chump change.

Tone wise, Silicon Valley sets itself up as the perfect foil to David Fincher's somber The Social Network. "Jobs is a poser," Richard mumbles upon meeting a potential roommate. "He didn't even write code."

Silicon Valley premieres April 6 on HBO.
