India's largest tech and business gathering, Odoo Community Days 2025, transformed the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre into an entrepreneurial playground where ambition met open source innovation. More than 25,000 participants flocked to two days of immersive keynotes, practical sessions, and hands-on experiences, completely free and driven by Odoo employees to showcase true ownership and teamwork.
The event kicked off on August 11 and 12 with Smart Classes designed to equip innovators with actionable ERP strategies and hands-on training. An electrifying 24-hour hackathon garnered India and Asia Book of Records recognition, drawing more than 18,000 registered participants, 8,800 virtual contenders, and 1,000 finalists to prototype solutions on Odoo's platform. MBA students also participated in a Business Challenge, applying ERP implementations to real-world scenarios and sharpening their industry acumen.
Day one of the main event opened with a keynote address by Fabien Pinckaers, CEO and founder of Odoo. Pinckaers underscored India's status as one of Odoo's fastest-growing markets while teasing highlights from Odoo 19, including AI-driven workflows. Mantavya Gajjar, MD of Odoo India, unveiled a partner-centric roadmap, celebrating hundreds of exhibitors as co-builders of a thriving ecosystem. A Lunch with the CEO roundtable broke down barriers between entrepreneurs and Fabien, creating candid conversations on scaling, automation, and next-generation entrepreneurship.
Across six dedicated halls, sessions ran continuously on finance, HR, CRM, retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce, with more than 200 sessions across 10 rooms. At the Odoo POS Café, visitors placed real orders through Odoo's Point of Sale system, while the Smart Mart demonstrated live inventory workflows. The Odoo Store buzzed with attendees grabbing branded merchandise, turning every booth into a micro case study in B2C retail.
Among the exhibitors, 94.3 My FM also participated with a dedicated stall, standing alongside Odoo partners, tech innovators, and business manufacturers. Their live coverage from the venue brought the energy of Community Days to a wider entrepreneurial audience, bridging mainstream radio with India's startup and MSME ecosystem.
Entrepreneurially minded attendees found inspiration in talks by founders and industry influencers, including Aman Gupta (boAt), Ranveer Allahbadia, Sharan Hegde, Ganeshprasad (Think School), and many more content creators who shared candid growth hacking insights and personal tales of startup grit.
This event was not merely a conference; it was a testament to Odoo's mission of building an open, free, and inclusive platform that arms MSMEs across India with the tools to innovate, collaborate, and scale. As the community dispersed, every entrepreneur left with new connections, proven strategies, and the confidence that with open source agility at their fingertips, the next phase of their journey starts now
Odoo looks forward to welcoming participants again next year for an even bigger celebration of entrepreneurship and a deeper dive into their seamless, modular ERP that is rapidly reshaping India's business landscape.
See you next year with an even better experience.
