Among the top PE players in India, Everstone Capital led by Dhanpal Jhaveri, a corporate finance and strategy expert, last year raised $730 million for its third fund.

Jhaveri in a discussion with Entrepreneur India gives an outlook for PE for 2016 including expectations from the government, foreign investment and exit trends. He has been working in India for 9 years now and says, "Long term opportunity remains intact of believing that India's is a great market to be putting to work, but in the short term, we will continue to have headbents that companies will have to prepare for."
