How do you discover if you are truly passionate about your business idea? "You try it and find out," says Rachel Dang, owner of Urban Nail Box, a unique nail salon and coffee shop in Seattle, Washington.
Born and raised in Vietnam, she first traveled to Seattle as a student when she was 16 years old. She met her partner there and fell in love with the city. "I think this is going to be my forever home," she says.
Dang built Urban Nail Box to give her customers an escape from everyday stress, a place where they can indulge in self-care and enjoy the beautiful community. She credits her staff with delivering on that promise to patrons, and credits Square with helping her manage it all. "Square has been my great assistant since the beginning," she says.
Before using Square, Dang used pen and paper to track of appointments and payments. It was time-consuming and caused frustration and friction for both her and her clients. Making the switch to managing it all through Square's online booking made a huge impact, making things easier and more efficient. "I can see a lot more people in a day without ever picking up the phone," she says.
